A family project, shared with care

I made Magical Colors for my own children first.

I’m a Vietnamese dad, an IT engineer, a Catholic, and I live in Japan. I built this app and website for my own kids, then chose to share the same calm, practical resources with parents and teachers who are looking for gentle ways to support early learning.

From our home to yours

I wanted a coloring experience my children could enjoy without clutter or pressure: clear pictures, big spaces, kind encouragement, and words worth learning. Those small family moments became Magical Colors, and I hope they can make space for good moments in your home too.

For parents and teachers

The app, printable pages, stories, and self-building books are for grown-ups who want a calm resource for early learning, independent discovery, conversation, and creativity. Use them at home, in a preschool setting, or whenever a child wants to make a page their own.

Free to use, honest about the work

The public pages and core experience are free to explore. But free to use does not mean free to make: drawing, writing, hosting, and maintaining a useful resource takes real time and money. I hope Magical Colors can eventually earn a fair profit that helps support my family and keeps the project sustainable.

A bigger hope for children

If Magical Colors grows beyond what my family needs, I want to direct part of that profit toward early-learning resources in poorer countries and communities where parents may not be able to afford even a simple children's book. My Catholic faith keeps that hope grounded in gratitude and service: every child deserves a bright, welcoming way to learn.

Why printables?

A good paper page slows a moment down. It gives a child something real to hold, an adult something simple to ask, and a picture enough space to become their own.

Made for little hands

I choose clear shapes, generous coloring space, useful words, and calm layouts because small hands deserve a welcoming place to begin. There is no correct color and no need to finish.

Color on paper or in the app

Use the member studio to make a printer-ready book, or use Magical Colors for forgiving tools, spoken object names, and artwork saved on the device. However you begin, the child stays in charge of the color.
